Removalists Perth

Removalists Perth

I started this blog because I wanted to share as much information as I can about removalists in Perth. I know many people when they are searching on the internet, they would look for a keyword like removalists Perth or removals Perth. From my experience, you will get a lot of different results coming up and showing on the first page.

Although there is only 10 results on the first page, it is still 9 too many! Right? You will still have to do your research to see which removals company you should hire. It’s not easy as doing a quick search right? To help you choose the right one and avoid the crappy one; I have created a brief summary below:

Pick an established removals company

When choosing a company, check how long they have been in the business. The longer.. the better it is. That is because the longer a company has been in business, the more likely it is to be trusted. Think about it, if you have only been in the game for a short time and you happen to be dodgy.. most likely or not someone must of made a complaint and you will get a bad name in town.  From my personal experience, go with someone with at least 5 years of experience. Even better- if you go with someone who had a family member who was also in the same industry beforehand.

Pick someone local

This goes without saying, it is highly recommended that you go with someone local. The reason is obvious. It is much easier to get in contact and communicate with someone who lives in the same area. Especially when you are living in Perth right? Our city is not that big. Also the fact that Perth is the most isolated city in the world. Why would you go with someone outside of town? I knew someone who hired someone from the eastern states and needless to say they had an awful experience. From not being able to get in touch with them, due to time difference and them not knowing anything about our local scene.

Cheapest is not always the best option

This saying goes with pretty much any purchase you make. The cheapest price nearly always means the least desirable option. But at the same time, you have to do your research well enough to know that you are not getting ripped off by someone. The best way to ensure this doesn’t happen is to compare at least three quotes. The more removal quotes you compare the better it is. Any prices that are outliers, just ignore. So if it is too cheap or too expensive compared to most of the quotes, then most likely it is not the best option.

Go with your gut instinct

The end of the day, I simply recommend you go with your gut instinct. If it doesn’t feel right at the beginning, then don’t do it! Also don’t forget to ask for opinions from people that you trust. For example: your friends or family members.

Anyways good luck with your search!
